India and Nepal 2010

The weeks seem to be passing really quick and I'm sure it will be October before we know it.What started off as just a dream is now becoming reality...and fast.We were only in India for a month back in March this year, yet here we are again........planning.//(*!*)\\

The plan is,we go to South India first, flying to Bangalore.From here we take a taxi to Puttaparthi the home of Sri Sathya Sai baba( Phil was a devotee of Baba back in the 70's and early 80's) we stay there a week or two before travelling to Tiruvannamalai in Tamil Nadu State. We hope to settle in here for a few weeks before moving across to the coast and working our way up to Chennai before flying to Bodhgaya in December ready for the Kagyu Monlam,HH Karmapa and Mingyur Rinpoche's teachings.
After Rinpoche's teachings,we will be heading over to Nepal where we will be doing some Voluntary work for Mingyur Rinpoche at his Monastery,Osel Ling.Rinpoche has asked us to teach English and basic hygiene to the Monks living there.

Phil is currently doing a T.E.F.L course so he can do the English side of things and I plan on being his happy,helpful classroom assistant.I will also be teaching the monks basic hygiene.We plan on doing this for a few months before we head back over to India.Once back in India,we will visit Sherab Ling Monastery,Tso Pema maybe Mcleod Gange ( if we have enough money left for shopping ) before heading back down to Delhi round about July 2011 ready to fly home.

Before we can do all that though,I have to save,save,save which means work,work,work and we have to pack everything away so we can rent our home out ( so we have money to come back to) We have mannaged to find our lovely little dog Siddhi a foster carer.Siddhi has already been there for a weekend and seemed to get on great with the dog that already lives there.We will arrange a few more visits for him to make sure he's going to be happy in his new home.
